Be Kind to Your Self

Self-compassion is about being comfortable in your own skin and learning to love yourself. This two-day experience will offer further understanding and opportunities to experience self-care possibilities through movement, deep relaxation, guided meditation, picture cards, and poetry.

One self-care possibility is to experience gentle movement. Movement from the space of your heart allows energy to flow freely and in a peaceful way. The guided relaxation and meditation offered are designed to enhance your personal experience of comfort and contentment.

The opportunity to gaze upon photographic picture cards provides a visual focus for allowing your own connections to images to emerge. Picture cards stimulate the imagination, extract meaning and can touch the emotions. Giving time to notice what draws your attention reveals more of your own personal values, emotions and stories than is in your conscious awareness, and this is of great benefit. When applied to your life situation and space is given for reflection potential insights, self-acceptance and personal empowerment are possible outcomes for you.

The depth of universal wisdom underpinning poetic expression has potential for touching hearts and souls. Therefore, an opportunity is provided to allow your personal self-care to be enhanced through being present to poetry. You will find deep personal satisfaction when your heart and soul are touched in this way.

Saying yes to this invitation to be kind to yourself will give you the gift of soaking in wisdom experiences already within you amid beholding the beauty and sounds of nature. There is every probability that you will return to your life situation refreshed, replenished emotionally, and armed with more self-care experience possibilities.
