Let’s be Pilgrims of Hope
This silent, contemplative, guided guided retreat (beginning evening of (10th November) and concluding with breakfast (17th November) attempts to answer Pope Francis’ call to create a climate of hope within each of us which then flows into our world. “In the heart of each person, hope dwells as the desire and expectation of good things to come…” Pope Francis encourages …. May we take seriously this call of hope, allowing our action and prayer to be the spiritual breath of our life that never ceases, (not even while we sleep) …awakening beauty, truth and goodness to open new, vibrant ways of being in the world.
During these 6 days we will fan the flame the hope we’ve received to gain new insight, certainty and strength; inspiring us, as Pope Francis says, to “look… to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart and far-sighted vision…” allowing our lives to become a ‘symphony’ of prayer, living in the presence of God, and restoring a climate of life-giving change for each person.
